A Velvet Affair
It flaunted a gorgeous autumnal colour palette of burgundies, emerald green and true red making this a true winter runway. This seductive fabric made a powerful statement in the opening show, making this a trend you must purchase for the season. It adds drama to day wear and is a perfect way to assure for glamour after dark and it is in the stores right now, getting shopping!
New Look Lace
Lace is normally romanticised but London Fashion Weekend unveiled lace with a more graphic and edgier attitude with a Victoriana spin. Opt for oversized, dramatic sleeves, high necklines and modest midi lengths as a way to be on trend this season.
Winter Florals
My favourite trend of the day, showcasing gorgeous embroidery, floor sweeping gowns and dramatic prints. It's summer florals remodelled, swapping whimsical prints for striking blooms with startling attitude.
